Hi All -- Well, summer is slipping away. Hope yours has been fantastic.
It has been so great having both kids at home, with Matt mostly playing baseball and Jessica working for a first-class marketing firm in downtown Sacramento (good money, free parking and lots of food!). We had a perfect, if quick, trip to Maui and just spent a weekend at Tahoe for a family gathering that started when I was 14 -- approximately a long, long time ago.
Back to business. Visit my web site, bobwalter22.com, and see the latest market report for the Elk Grove area (and zip code 95829, which I love). As you will see, the market remains extremely hot. Prices continue to rise, though maybe not as fast as earlier in the year, and inventory continues to creep upward. We still can find great homes in most price ranges but the time to get on the market is NOW if you are thinking of moving up, moving out or becoming a landlord.
Please call -- and have your friends, family, co-workers or reasonably friendly strangers call -- if you have any real-estate needs or questions. Or just to say hi. I have been woefully neglectful of many of you this summer, but I promise to do better.
Meanwhile, savor the rest of August and bless you all.
Cheers,
Bob
